Contemporary art galleries in Moscow

Compared to St. Petersburg, Moscow is the richer for contemporary art spaces. In addition to museums and other spaces, there are more than twenty contemporary art galleries in the capital of Russia. In this regard, it is difficult to find a complete list of already/still open and active galleries: information quickly becomes outdated, and subjective lists of them do not give the most extensive view on the map of Moscow galleries.

In this post, I tried to collect literally all the galleries that are operating today providing the information about the year of their foundation, as well as identifying the main areas of work and their location.
